The range
Three families, six electric bikes
Six Scott pedal-assist bikes, grouped by how you’ll use them. Each one has a different system, Bosch, Mahle or TQ, and you can feel the difference: in the way the motor pushes, in the range and in how the bike handles on the road.

Where the tarmac ends, the ride goes on
Two different takes on assistance: a mid-drive motor with full power for long climbs, or a light, quiet hub motor that you notice as little as possible.
Scott Solace Gravel eRIDE
The flagship e-bike of our gravel fleet. A mid-drive motor with progressive power delivery and a long-distance geometry: the climbs of the hinterland stop being the limit of your day.
- FrameHMX carbon, eEndurance
- MotorTQ HPR50 mid-drive, 50 Nm
- AssistanceUp to 25 km/h
- GearsSRAM Rival 1, 11-speed
- TyresSchwalbe G-One Overland 50 mm
Scott Speedster Gravel eRIDE
A light, quiet e-bike with a hub motor: it helps without making itself felt, and it stays a true gravel bike even with the motor off.
- Frame6061 aluminium
- MotorMahle hub motor, 40 Nm
- Battery250 Wh, optional extender
- GearsShimano GRX RX400, 20-speed

The same two bikes are also on the gravel bikes page, alongside the non-electric models: if you’re not sure you need assistance, you’ll find the comparison there.
E-touring
The two Sub Tour eRIDEs
These are the two touring e-bikes in our Scott fleet in Riccione: same components, two different frames. The only difference is how you get on, and for many people that’s the difference between enjoying the ride and not riding at all.
Classic frame
Scott Sub Tour eRIDE Men
The classic frame with a high top tube, for riders used to this geometry who want a solid bike for whole days out on the cycle paths and in the hills around Riccione.
- FrameAluminium
- MotorBosch Performance
- BatteryPowerTube 500 Wh
- EquipmentRack, mudguards and lights as standard
Step-through
Scott Sub Tour eRIDE USX
The same bike without the high top tube: you get on and off with your foot on the ground, handy if you’re wearing a skirt, carrying a backpack or not used to cycling.
- FrameAluminium, step-through
- MotorBosch Performance
- BatteryPowerTube 500 Wh
- EquipmentRack, mudguards and lights as standard
Not sure which of the two? If you get on and off often, or if two people of different heights will share the bike, take the USX: a high top tube is no use if it makes life harder.
Where to go
With electric assistance, these routes are for everyone
On an e-bike you can take on even the toughest climbs of the hinterland more easily and enjoy the scenery with less effort.
San Marino
The most famous climb on the Riviera, ridden with discreet but steady support. You reach the top of Mount Titano looking around you instead of at your bike computer.
- 60-80km
- 700-900m of climbing
- 740m altitude
Marecchia Valley
Small villages, rolling roads through the countryside, riverside paths and the city of Rimini. With pedal assistance the kilometres go by without you noticing, and you still have the energy to stop and look around.
- 40-60km
- mixedtarmac and white roads
- mediumdifficulty
San Bartolo Park
The sea always below and a series of short, sharp climbs: they’re exactly what keeps less trained cyclists away, and that’s where assistance changes your day. You can enjoy the view without gasping for breath.
- ~70km round trip
- ~800m of climbing
- 2-4hours
Distances and climbing are approximate: they depend on where you start and how far you want to go.
All routesThe service
An e-bike is a machine, not just a bike
The motor, battery and control unit need checking just like the brakes and drivetrain. That’s why, when you’re looking for e-bike rental in Riccione, who you rent from matters as much as which model you choose.
-
01
Latest generation Scotts
Recent Bosch, Mahle and TQ motors, not systems from two generations ago: they change how the assistance is delivered, the range and how the bike behaves on climbs.
-
02
Models and sizes for everyone
Three families with several sizes each, including a step-through frame for riders who find it hard to swing a leg over the top tube.
-
03
Checked before every rental
As well as the brakes and drivetrain, we check the battery, charge and electrics: an e-bike that cuts out halfway through a ride ruins the day.
-
04
We tell you which one to take
Tell us what ride you have in mind and how much you usually cycle: we choose the model together, without selling you more bike than you need.
-
05
We set up your position
We set the saddle and handlebar and explain how the battery and assistance levels work before you leave, so you don’t spend the first few kilometres figuring things out.
Whatever your fitness level, the aim is for you to think about the route and not the bike: we hand you a Scott ready to go, you leave Riccione and ride.
An honest choice
Is an e-bike right for you?
We’d rather tell you upfront: if you have a different kind of ride in mind, we have the right bike and point you to it below.
It’s the right bike if…
- you want to tackle the Romagna hills without reaching the top exhausted;
- you ride as a couple or in a group with different fitness levels and want to stay together;
- you’re a cycle tourist and want to cover plenty of kilometres several days in a row;
- you’re on holiday in Riccione and want to get around sustainably without giving up the fun.
Another bike may suit you better if…
- you want exactly the feel of a traditional road bike, with nothing pedalling for you;
- you’re planning technical trails: for those you need a mountain bike;
- you only need short trips around town: then a city bike costs less and is more than enough.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions about e-bike rental
If you can’t find the answer you’re looking for, write to us: we reply the same day.
Ask your questionCan I ride an e-bike even if I’m not fit?
Yes, that’s exactly why they exist. The assistance works while you pedal, so it doesn’t do the work for you but lightens it where needed: above all on climbs and long rides. Before you set off we show you the assistance levels and how to change them on the move.
How long does the battery last?
It depends on four things: the model, the assistance level you use, how much climbing you do and how much you weigh. In normal conditions a full day out is no problem. If you’re planning a lot of climbing, tell us when you book: we’ll give you the model with the most range, and some models can be fitted with a Range Extender.
Which e-bike is best for me?
It depends on the surface under your wheels. Tarmac and a sporty pace: e-road. A mix of tarmac and white roads: e-gravel. Cycle paths, sightseeing and relaxed rides: e-touring. Tell us about the ride you have in mind and we’ll choose together.
Are the e-bikes checked before every rental?
Yes, and on an electric bike the check takes longer than on a normal one: as well as the brakes, drivetrain and tyre pressure, we check the battery, charge level and electrics. You leave with a full battery, knowing the motor will respond. If you rent the bike for several days, we provide the charger.
Do I need to book in advance?
Booking in advance is always recommended: e-bikes are the first to go, because so many people want them. If you’re a group of friends, five people or more, write to us with what you need and we’ll put together a dedicated offer.
If I rent the bike for several days, what if the battery runs out?
No problem: for rentals of more than one day the charger is always included in the price.
